TRICK OR TREAT

So tonight was trick or treat here in Dover and on base. We had a good time even though it was COLD!! 55 with 16 mph winds from the north lol My toes are still frozen! Luckily I had dinner in the crockpot hehe Meatball and veggie stew! Any hoo I'm out of order...

I went to Heartlink this morning after not enough sleep. It was neat. I knew most of the info already but its good to hear. And tons of freebies hehehe
After that I came home had lunch with Ry while carl went to the gym and once HE got back we went to toys r us. We got Aiden's birthday present and 2 more Christmas gifts for Rylei. The mommy and me play all day doll and the rocking horse came free. woot woot. Even though we had to be rung up twice cuz the girl messed up lol We also went to best buy where I drooled over SLRs and laptops and michaels where I wasnt much impressed.

Then home again home again because I had to sew the face on my shirt and get us ready for trick or treat. My costume was a hit haha I loved it. And Ry was adorable and the only Olivia the Pig I saw! woo hoo! But anyway heres some pictures.

1. What’s the nicest thing a stranger has ever done for you?
   I guess it was when Carl was deployed my grandma came to visit me for a few weeks.. Of course the day after my grandpa leaves my grandma tells me she has been having chest pain for a few days and thought she needed to go to the hospital (Murpheys law right?) Well after being there for about 4 hours Rylei and I needed to eat so I went down to the cafeteria to eat (not wanting to go too far). I walk through the line get our food... go to pay... "Uh we dont take cards" What?! Who carries cash?! lol A nurse behind me payed for our meal with her employee meal card... I was SO thankful I could have cried.
   
   
2. If you are having a hard time going to sleep, what do you do to help yourself?
   

Hah this is EVERY night... I just try to stay still and not think to much.. But my brain doesnt have an off switch sadly... I normally think I should get up and be productive but then I'd just be up later...

3. Name something that makes you wish you were a kid again.
   uhm a forced nap for one... the lack of stress... lol the simplicity of life that gets forgotten... and Barbies... I cant wait till Rylei is old enough for real Barbies...
   
   
4. What is something you never believed until you experienced it?
   
   How unconditonal love of a child can affect you... Its crazy... She can be a monster but I still love her with all my heart... and it just happens... as soon as she was born I have felt that connection and its the same so far with Olivia...
   
5. What can’t you say “no” to?

err a lot... When people ask me to do stuff lol and stuff for my kiddos... I want them to have everything...

no inspiration ...

So I'm writing with like zero inspiration right now... but I know I need to push through and blog anyway or I will quit.. again... And I've got to much to remember to NOT blog lol To be honest the past 2 days I've just been blah... Kinda down... irritable.. pregnancy hormones? perhaps... I know it will pass.. I've got to much to be thankful for to let this bog me down.

Maybe its because tomorrow carl is going to a halloween party... alone.. I understand I dont need to be at a party with smoking a drinking.. I think its the fact that 1 he didnt invite me... and 2 he didnt ASK to go... (like if i minded..) he TOLD me he was going to a party friday night... then told me today that he was prolly gunna hang out "for like 30-45 mins" at a friends house saturday night too... Its like wth? I'm the FIRST to admit I AM a clingly wife... I dont like being alone... I dont like DOING thing alone... Hell I dont even like to shower when he isnt home (okay mainly because i'm afraid the baby will wake up and I wont hear her and she will cry and feel abandoned... but thats besides the point). And I'm a very insecure person... I always have been. I'm always afraid that people dont like me or are saying bad things about me. I'm certainly not one of those "I dont give an eff about what people think about me" kinda girls... And with the problems that carl and I have had in the past year... even though I try to trust him.. when hes out I'm nervous... At least at Dyess I knew who he would be out with.. He couldnt do stuff that wouldnt get back to me somehow or another through the gossip... But now... I know no one that he hangs out with here... I will know NO one at this party... and it sucks.. It scares me... And he doesnt understand that... And if I nag or complain it will cause a fight... if he doesnt go.. he will be resentful.. SO once more I bottle it up inside... I'd rather feel hurt alone than rock the boat... Weve had to many storms in the past for me to dwell on something like this... Because lately everything has been GREAT. WE have been great... Dont get me wrong we have our spats as any married couple does but its been happy home again and hes been involved.


But anyway I might have shared a little too much but its my blog and he doesnt read it anyway. And if he does maybe he will get it lol So now I need a pick me up... Well I made little goodie bags for some of Ry's little friends (well the ones that I know where they live..) I'm just going to drop them off at their houses after my nst in the morning then maybe facebook them to make syre they find them haha. Then at 12 I'm going to go to Miikos cosmetology graduation and prolly get my nails done lol Then I need to clean clean clean my house. I think thats another reason Im down. My house is a mess... All the time... And I HATE it.. But I'm too tired most of the time.. But I need to suck it up and do it.. And steam clean my carpets because theyre gross... I want to be a new me.. With a the cutesy house where I'm not terrified that someone will just pop in.. Its going to take work but it will happen... eventually.

Pumpkin Carving night

First off I had an NST this morning and for the first time I didn't get held over!! YAY!!! I think its because the nice nurse (I've had 2 nurses for my NST's.. the nice nurse who is going on leave soon for foot surgery and the lazy nurse) offered me a drink and I mean come on hospital juice is the best! And I've been wanting oj!! Then when we came home I was SO tired because I only got about 4 hours of sleep.. Carl said he HAD to go get cat food... Okay whatever I thought... He came home with oj for me and my favorite mcdonalds breakfast :-) such a sneaky hubby. It really is the little things...

But as said in the title we finally carved our pumpkins tonight. I was really excited because Carl got into it tonight. Normally he just moans and groans about how dumb my holiday antics are but he actually got into it and carved his own pumpkin for the first time since weve been together. I was so happy :-) I had an idea to do a fleur de lis for carls pumpkin and he loved the idea. He also decided to add Saints and LSU to it. For Rylei I kept it simple.. A smiley Jackie lol With a bow! And for me I did an "F" for our last name surrounded by tiny stars.

Trying to make it pretty

So I've been exploring around how to make my blog prettier lol Of course with my dinosaur of a computer it has been a pain in the booty! Sneaky Momma Blog Design has been a HUGE help. Hopefully in time my blog will look nice and fancy and people will want to read it hehe

So yesterday was Pajama Day for Rylei and I (Daddy was at work). It was nice.. I also took my time and cleaned the living room really nice... Took forever because I get tired quickly and need breaks lol And in 15 mins rylei destroyed it... again... lol Rylei was a hoot though with stuff she was saying. For breakfast I asked her what she wanted. "Wice momma". I replied "Rylei you cant have rice for breakfast. Would you like waffles?" As she shakes her little hand at me "No no no momma.. Wice" Then she got one of her spoons out of her drawers and started eating the rice out of the fridge that carl had made yesterday. Its like really? Another little conversation we had was when she was awoken by barking dogs at nap time. I was laying in my bed trying to nap but Olivia wouldnt let me and I hear tap tap tap on her door. I go open it and she said "Momma I was seepin" I told her I knew. "Momma dogs barkin" It amazes me all she can say... Like seriously!

Today was a nice chill family day. We didnt do much. Just hung out together. I made pulled pork for dinner and it was okay but not as good as my last batch. I used a different recipe. When will I learn.. If it aint broke dont fix it! But I guess thats all I got for now!

beat down

I just feel totally beat down tonight... I did a load of dishes tonight and that was it lol But now that I think of it I have been very busy the past few days... Friday I had my second NST.. I had a different nurse and didnt care for her :-/ She wasnt friendly and attentive like the last nurse. Anywho Livi had a "non responsive" test. Meaning her heart beat stayed the same with a few drops... Normally when the baby is wiggling and moving the heart rate will change just like ours does. So I had to do another ultrasound... But I got my same tech and she was chatty and let me know that everything was good without so many words.. So after another 2 hours there I was able to go home.. So I picked Ry up from Chantel's and we went to the pharmacy where she decided to run around like a pig oinking... I got tons of dirty looks from the older people there but she wasnt near anyone so I truly didnt care lol After that we went to Kmart to start Christmas shopping :-D I was hoping to find Alphie on sale as shown in thier catalog but he wasnt in stock.. So I got ry some training pants and 2 little toys for Livi plus some sale summer clothes for Ry... Cant beat 99 cent clothes lol Then we headed to Toys'R'Us. They had a buy 2 get 1 free on certain Fisher Price toys... So I got Ry 3 toys there for Christmas. She also decided that she wanted a pumpkin for her halloween candy so she now has a purple pumpkin bucket for trick'r'treat. lol Then it was home for lunch and naps (for both :-D). We got up and had to get ready for the 436 Maint family day which would have been amazing... but it was COLD. It didnt seem cold when we where shopping but under all those old trees with the wind blowing... holy CRAP it was COLD lol But we had a nice time.. Got some goodies and free food.. woo hoo lol After THAT lol I had a scentsy party to go to. So I headed over there with Ry. Carl was supposed to pick her up on his way home from work but he ended up staying since he works and works out with the hostesses husband. It was a very nice time and even though Rylei was with me I got some good grown up time.

Today I did NOT want to get out of bed... and I tried not to lol Rylei got in our bed at like 4am after I put her back to sleep in her bed twice at early times. I think she was cold last night though. Lets give me the worst mom award now lol We where in a rush to get her to bed last night since we got home after bed time that we just took her clothes off and left her in her diaper... Thats what we did all summer... Well last night was the coldest night so far this year lol Opps... My bad. (she is in full footie jammies tonight btw..) But she woke up at like 8:30 and we didnt make it out of bed until close to 10.. and only then because Chantel called me to double check a birthday party time. So I finally rolled out of bed and Ry and I took a bath. I'm not a fan of bathing with baby.. never have been... when she was little it made me nervous and now its just hard lol However it was much easier washing her hair when I was in the tub. lol We got ready for parkers birthday party. It was a costume party. Ry looked super cute but her Olivia dress was a little short :-( but it will work. I havent uploaded pics yet but I will post them when I do. It was such a cute party. It was monster themed lol. I loved it. Ry had a good time. Then it was home for a late nap and then we did nothing because I felt eck lol SO I declare tomorrow pajama day for Ry and I... and I need to clean but I'm not leaving the house!!!

Today was a pretty good day. I didnt sleep much and Carl let me sleep in :-) We had an ob appt and everything is good. Except how much weight I've gained :-( Not to pleased about it but thats being pregnant... Its hard watching the numbers on the scale jump up.. Hopefully I'll be able to lose the weight faster this time because I am motivated... I had JUST gotten down to the weight I wanted to be (but not size) lol

After dr appt carl found my missing ID card saving us a trip to get a new one! Yay lol Even though I do need a new one lol After nap time we had to make a commissary trip because I STILL hadn't bought meat for this pay period! Opps lol Thats always a fun experience lol We also got some yummy fruits and veggies...

We also had Carl's falg football game tonight... First one I've made it to! lol they lost... so that was a bummer but Carl played great. And it was SO freakin cold! I dont know why I was so cold because it was only 63!! I think the pants I had on where just much thinner than I knew lol

For dinner we had sloppy joes, fries, and corn... not very healthy for someone who is freaking over their weight lmao Oh well... I'm about to have some hot chocolate to warm me up and then put Ryleis clothes on hangers and maybe some for Olivia if I have enough lol then BED TIME woo hoo

Pumpkin Patch 2010

We had such a blast at Fifer Orchards today for their Fall Fest! Rylei was SO excited to go get pumpkins lol She was not patent at all this morning. There was SO much to do there.

Everyone who went into the Fall Fest area got a free pumpkin to paint. Rylei picked hers out all by herself. And she wasn't picky at all lol

They had a little mini maze for kiddos under 5. Ry and Aiden LOVED it. Their daddies helped them lol

We thought the giant spider made of hay was pretty neat lol

She loved painting the pumpkin and the mess wasn't even too bad!

Next up for us was the petting zoo. Rylei loved the bunnies. She would run animal to animal but about every three pins she would go check on the bunnies.

I was shocked because she wasn't interested in the miniature pony at all.

We didn't know until the end that she could get in the pin with the bunnies and piggie.

I kinda want a pig now? lol

This was smart... it was a sandbox... filled with corn.

I REALLY wanted to do the BIG corn maze but with the kids we decided against it :-( they had a mini one so we did that.

This was the kids favorite. A huge slide that you climbed up hay to get to. Rylei and Aiden LOVED it. The guys said it was super fast lol Chantel and I where having a pregnancy pee break in the store when they first started sliding lol

Of course they loved the pumpkin train. They cried waiting their turn and when they had to get off... Lovely!

Lastly we did a hay ride around the orchard. SO beautiful. Ry and Aiden wanted to throw the loose hay the whole time to the displeasure of the people sitting behind us lol So daddy tried to keep her occupied by telling her what stuff was lol
