haha wow... When I was a little kid I wanted to be a child advocate judge (mind you I mean when I was like 7-14).. I wanted to protect little kids... (didnt know you had to be a judge to be a lawyer...) and I didnt want to have kids... I only wanted to adopt kids because I was afraid of the pain. After that I wanted to be a journalist (like for a paper or magazine not on the news... too shy for that and I get too tongue tied...). Now I want to be a mommy lol

I dont think I deal... lol I'm not to proud to say that I have been on the floor crying before because I didnt know how I was going to handle it when carl was gone on his deployment... But time keeps going and so do we..

Day 24 and party planning

Day 24 - A picture of something you wish you could change

Child abuse and neglect... I dont understand how anyone in ANY state of mind can hurt a child... Physically mentally sexually... I just dont see it... Even shows where they show child neglect/abuse or even when the parent in the show is too busy for the child it hits a nerve with me and I kid you know I have teared up in a damn sitcom because the dad "didnt have time" to look at the little boys art project that he MADE for his dad... And maybe since I've been through certain things to it affects me... Whats even sadder is when the system fails the child... and lord knows that happens far to often.... I'm know saying snatch up every child but hell WORK with the parents.. in some cases it just the "parent" is still a child (uhm hello Teen Mom??) and truly has no damn clue. Some have substance abuse problems and really need the help if someone would push them in the right direction... Some truly dont deserve to ever see their children again and should be sterilized...

But dont get it twisted I am not BLAMING the system either because it is ALWAYS the abusers fault... But sometimes there could be an easy fix... And sometimes the system needs to just wake the hell up and not "wait for something to happen"....

On a much happier note to cheer myself up ... I've started working on Ry's birthday party for real :-D. Yes her party is in Aug.... DONT JUDGE ME! lmao heres a little sneaky sneak

Day 23 and Squadron Open House

First my nerdy self loves the Twilight an Harry Potter books... yeah yeah... I also love Memoirs of a Geisha. I really love all memoirs and biography's...

Last night Carls squadron held an open house for the spouses to come check out where their hubbys work. It was very nice. The commander gave us a tour of the shop and the plane they fix. Hes a really nice commander and his wife is so sweet and always there. Our amazing key spouse Brandy put it together. Shes pretty fan-freaking-tastic. Shes our lead key spouse, spouse club president and Enlisted Spouse Club president. (Her bloggy). But heres the girls and I in the cargo bay of the C-5M model. Its a MASSIVE plane. lol We got to check out the cargo bay and the flight deck and where the troops ride. I have to ask carl if I can post the picture of Ry in the pilots seat... Pretty sure I can but yeah.

Day 22

Day 22 - A picture of something you wish you were better at




organizing... My house is a cluttered mess... I try but we just have too much stuff I think... I try to purge the house but it never works... Sigh...

Tired of being tired but blessed non the less

I'm so sick of being so tired. I'm one of those people that need 7-8 hours of sleep... 2-4 doesn't make the cut! Even on nights that the girls sleep well I cant sleep! Its awful... Last night it was nurse liv, couldn't sleep, ry had a nightmare, dosed off, nurse liv, ry started crying but stopped, dose off and liv was up again.. grand total? 2 hours! And Ry hasn't been napping (whats new?) and Liv was wiggly... sigh....
I feel useless on days like this... I can hardly move off the couch it seems.

That rant being done I am still so blessed. I know it sounds incredibly cliche but I am. I have two beautiful smart little girls... I have a roof over my head and enough groceries til payday. Is life perfect? Of course not but I MAKE it that way. There is never enough money.. or enough time... but you look at what you have and make it work. My life has never been a picnic but its made me who I am and it makes you stronger.. My marriage... my beliefs... my dreams for the girls have all been strengthened and shaped by events in my life good and bad.

Is anything worth totally forgeting? Everything makes you stronger... No matter how awful it makes you stronger in some way. Amd the bad things that have happened in my life have made me who I am... And others I'm not ready to share.... So something I could think of would be tearingthe ligaments in my ankle in high school. Pretty much benched me most of my senior year from dancing and playing soccer. First picture is the day after it happened before I knew they where torn... Thought it was a sprang and danced on it for about a month... Second pic is a team foot shot before our lyrical dance. My ugly foot is the bandaged one lol

We went to the Please Touch Museum in Philly yesterday and had an amazing time. Total must do if you have young kids!! Plus if your military you get in free!! Awesome right?

Potty training has been amazing! She had NO accidents yesterday!!! She pees her pull up at night but thats the only time. Dry panties all day! And now she tells us she has to potty!!! Amazing!

Day 18 and first day on the beach 2011

Day 18 - A picture of your biggest insecurity

Typical womans answer... My weight.... I was just starting to feel good about my body before I got pregnant with Olivia and I was my smallest since high school... Now I'm starting over and its just hard to look in the mirror.... I know it takes time but yeah it sucks.

Carl was off today so we decided to take a trip to the local little beach... It isnt the beach that we swim at... its mainly our sand beach for Ry. She LOVES the beach. Seriously. She likes to throw rocks in the water at this one. It was Olivias first trip and she did really well. Weather was PERFECT though a little less wind would have made it better. It was like 74 and yeah perfection for lounging on the beach.

It was also my first time nursing in public. Maybe TMI but I was just seriously nervous about it... I dont care but I dont want to offend people... Not like the obnoxious jerks that are like "eww breastfeeding is wrong blah blah blah" but ya know I just dont want to make people feel weird... Thankfully there weren't many there... I need to buy a nursing cover though cuz a blanket doesnt cut it when its windy...

Tomorrow shall be a grand adventure for us. Were going to philly to the Please Touch Museum.. SO excited because Rylei is going to LOVE it :-)

Oh and potty training is going excellent!! She has TOLD me a few times she needed to potty and she doesnt sit for like 10 mins anymore. I think she finally figured out that if she just GOES she is done and that she can in fact MAKE it happen. lol Hopefully it goes smoothly tomorrow at the museum. Bringing several outfits for both girls just in case though hehe
