This week were doing High Key, Bedroom, Something Tiny, Off in the Distance and Stripes.

1. High Key... I had no CLUE what that was.. I was like hang my house key on the wall? What? So google helped me.. heres a try.. My reluctent model is Prissy.. She has a blue eye and a green eye. Shes our SPCA rescue.

2. Bedroom- Typical Sunday in my bed.. Laundry day!!!

Day 1 of a new Challenge plus giggles

Soooo this month is a military challenge haha I know I'm a nerd!

Wow this made me realize that we havent taken a picture of just us in a very long time... We havent taken a picture TOGETHER since Dec!!! Yikes! Need to fix that... Heres a picture of the day Carl gave me my promise ring though... Check out those sideburns?! YUCK! lol Love you babe.

So who wants to hear my funny story from yesterday? SOOO I was in a shopping mood and needed to get presents for 2 baby showers plus a few odds and ends for us... And do I REALLY need a reason to go to target? Honestly? So the only way for me to shop alone is to put Olivia in the Moby wrap so that I can put Rylei in the buggy. We have a double stroller but then I wouldnt have room for the stuff I was buying.

So I'm in the parking lot putting Olivia in the wrap... As I'm doing this I notice a car drive by me slowly.. Which kinda gave me the heeby geebys... But I was like whatever got Rylei out and headed inside. As soon as I step in the store I'm stopped by a manager and employee. "Mam we need you to come over here... We have a few questions..." WTF runs through my head. I was like what did I do?? The manager goes on the explain that a customer who described themselves as "hyper aware" witnessed me strapping a bomb to myself in the parking lot....

Yes you read that right... The manager was like obviously that isnt the case but we are obligated to investigate all claims. Well thank God they didnt just call the cops. I was like seriously now... Did this "hyper aware" customer miss the cute little head sticking out the top of my "bomb" or the dangling legs??? I'm all for being an alert citizen but how about we get our facts right first huh?? The manager also joked "We sell those dont we...?" "uh Yeah..." So with apologies I went about my shopping feeling cranky the whole time. And on the way home... helllloooooo idiot drivers lol

Today I had a nice meeting with Carls first sergeant. I'm applying to become a Key Spouse for the squadron. I think its something I'd be good at. I've been in the situation where no one called when Carl was deployed and it would be MUCH nicer to be called and checked on... I have lunch with the Commander and First Shirt next week. Is it weird that I'm nervous about that? Maybe I'm just old fashion when it comes to the military but I do have a ton of respect for the "guys in charge"... I maintain that level of respect... But gotta figure out lunch for Ry and I.
